We’ve been on a daily fitness quest get in shape for the big daddy of all food festivals, South Beach Wine & Food Festival.  And, we’ve found a balance for you to indulge in everything delicious and then work it off!

Italian Bites on the Beach hosted by the beloved queen of Italian cuisine, Giada De Laurentiis, and famous butcher Dario Cecchini, are headed back to the sands of South Beach Thursday, February 20, at 6:30 pm.

The Deck at Island Gardens Executive Chef Alfio Longo joins more than 30 of the nation’s greatest chefs.  Chef Alfio has been handmaking 3200 tortellini all week!  The grand Italian feast will be paired with wines, beer and refreshing libations from Aperol Spritz, Heineken®, Amstel® Light, Birra Moretti, Heineken® 0.0, Strongbow Hard Apple Ciders® and Red Stripe.

Born in Germany to an Italian family, Chef Alfio moved at a young age to Pistoia and grew up surrounded by Tuscan hills, art, and cuisine. Internationally applauded, Longo recently joined The Deck at Island Gardens as Executive Chef. Longo’s in-depth culinary expertise, esteemed reputation and creative talent perfectly position him to helm the kitchen of one of Miami’s finest restaurants.

Bootcamp and Bites hosted by exhale spa and Robert Irvine, kicks off the weekend Saturday, February 22, at 8:30 am.  Exhale will lead a fierce hour of fitness on the sands of Nikki Beach.

Balance out a fuel-filled weekend with exhale’s signature high-energy cardio session to move, stretch, and sweat it up! And, in true Festival-fashion, the workout will be followed by bites and refreshing libations.
