24 Apr Iconic Medical Group Helps Counter the PPE Shortage
The shortage of the U.S Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) has been a continuous issue of the Covid-19 pandemic. The help countering this shortage is on the way from Colorado.
Iconic Medical Group, a Colorado-based company of engineers and medical device manufacturers is retooling American factories, bringing jobs back and saving lives. IMG pools resources, engineering capabilities and industrial equipment to produce millions of FDA registered and compliant personal protection equipment (PPE) devices.
Recently featured on NBC and CBS, IMG’s first partnership is with Sovereign Plastics. The facility has the ability to reduce molding times from the typical three months to one week, and to reduce product delivery from months to days as compared to production overseas in Asia. The operation employs over 30 highly experienced technicians, with plans to add 20% more to the workforce next month.
“We quickly saw a way to retool American factories to help fill the critical shortage of life-saving medical supplies,” says CEO and Founder Miguel Sosa. “IMG is a purpose driven company finding solutions to manufacture medical grade PPE at a rapid pace and competitive prices.”
