09 Jul The Deck at Island Gardens expands hours, adds Miami Spice and happy hour
The Deck at Island Gardens, renowned for its endless Biscayne Bay views, sophisticated al fresco waterfront dining, and coastal Mediterranean cuisine remains open due to its expansive outdoor dining area. The restaurant adds additional lunch hours Thursdays and Fridays, a new daily happy hour, and launches Miami Spice lunch and dinner menus. All menus including Miami Spice lunch and dinner are here.
The restaurant’s al fresco dining area is covered by awnings and large umbrellas, with water views and ocean breezes. Tables are comfortably spaced out in accordance to the City of Miami’s phase one regulations. Touchless sanitizer stands and social distancing stickers are throughout the property and single use sanitizers are provided on tables. Guests are required to wear masks at all times unless seated at their tables. Reservations will be limited to 4 persons per table as per the current emergency order in place. Valet parking is temporarily suspended for safety, but ample self-parking is available to guests.
Chef Alfio Longo’s new Summer Menu includes signature dishes and crowd favorites such as the Tuna Tartare with mango, avocado and tangerines; the TossedArugula and Endive Saladin Aged Parmesan; Wood-fired Truffle Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza; as well as a few new-comers like the Branzino Fillet with capers and olives and Tagliolina Al Frutti Di Mare overflowing with clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp and fresh tomatoes.
Delectable house desserts are also back, including the perfectly summer-y Floating Island with berries and the infamous Chocolate Nemesis Cake. For those who wish to celebrate at home with family and friends, these masterpiece desserts can be pre-ordered for large groups and as full cakes to-go.
